It is hard to comprehend, the stress or nervousness, that happens when one second, your mother is sitting reading, then the next, her head is down on her chest, eyes are closed, and it seems like she is asleep.
I don’t know what the reason is, because it happens and is scary. Yet you can tell she is okay, claims to be tired, but then won’t go lie down. Like why not?
If you are tired, so you grab a cat nap or two. Not like someone is going to pop over in the meantime, or that you’ll miss anything, but not mom. She is stubborn, guess that is where I get it from. I just don’t know, they say the older you get the less sleep you need, but I don’t know, doesn’t quite make sense to me. I’d figure you’d need more, as those parts are wearing out, needing bit more care and attention.
Still, the nodding off, worries me, maybe why I started this project, as I really need an outlet, and want to keep a record of things.
