What A Great Start

I wonder, ARE PEOPLE JUST PLAIN STUPID?

You are coming to a person’s home, to do a job. So to start things off, you park in front of a driveway, not the one you are visiting, but their neighbours.  Bad enough that, but then you try to simply walk in, even though you can hear a barking dog.

Uh huh, like that is smart right?  Barking Dog and you try to JUST WALK IN.

Then you are told, you can’t park in front of other people’s driveway, and instead of saying, oops, you tell the person  IT ISN’T, IT IS MOSTLY IN FRONT OF THE GRASS.   Like maybe the rear bumper is over grass, but the entire mid section and front end is blocking the driveway.

When you are TOLD to move it, you get a cross look, and instead of simply pulling the car up, in front of the patient’s home, or even across the street, or the one on either side of the house across the street, you show that hovering client, by parking three houses away.

Oh that is really smart, you really showed me.

A really great way to start the day, don’t you think?   So maybe next time you get BEVERELY from BEACON COMMUNITY SERVICES, you can say HI, but make sure your dog is locked up long before she’s due to arrive, and hope your neighbour has left, and won’t need their driveway.

As for care…  well nothing like being prepared, and having read the case file and care plan before arriving.  BUT NOT OUR BEVERLY!  Course you tell her what is needed, but then she figures out, she’ll just go do it her way.  After all, she is the worker, and knows whether or not the car is in front of a driveway.

No wonder she can’t follow a plan…   her ego is in the way of everything else.
