Has progress made us less human, though saved us in time? Has our values improved or gone to seed? Mind you, it was alot bigger then, than when Mom moved up there, as a bride to my dad. That was in 1942 and they didn't have many white people there, nor was it a booming community. Dad had a small trading post, buying fur from the Indians, and selling the odd store items.
