My Mother, Annice
Mother was born way back, in May of 1917.
She isn’t somebody famous, didn’t have what you would call a notable life, in that she never really made the news, or accomplished more than being a wife of 61 years, and a mother, so far, of 54 years.
Yet to me, she is the world, and we have had a close relationship ever since I can remember.
Now, she is entering that last phase. Nothing remarkable about it, difficult for me to accept, but nothing remarkable. No miracle finish, and let’s be honest, many people are living into their nineties, and beyond, but for me, she is special.
This is her story, through my eyes.
