Polite way of saying that we hasten their demise, death. This is what happens when those at the top of the scale are more interested in how many new cars they can buy, how many summer homes they have, than about insuring their product, service, is the best it can be. It filters down, so that many simply don't care, wrapped up in their own struggle to just survive todays Corporate Run World.

Then you might find out before the substitute shows up. Course the worker isn't told until the last minute either, but hey, who cares, they are just employees. More important that the CEO of Beacon Community Services is guaranteed her quarter of a million dollar salary, than proper employees are hired, and trained for their job. Besides, old people are about to expire, so what's the big deal, right?<div class="addthis_toolbox addthis_default_style addthis_32x32_style" addthis:url='http://mymotherslife.com/2011/08/its-just-one-day-right/' addthis:title='It’s Just One Day, Right? Is it because of wages, or cost of equipment? Or is it a system that is bloated with largress? Then could it perhaps simply be, that we have forgotten what health care is really about, which is to provide health care to those in need? Are we looking at health care to be a cash cow? Why do we expect health care to actually be in the black? The issue rests on how you perceive it. We all need it, but some thing that if they have the money, they should be entitled to more than what the average joe gets, but it is the average joe, who perhaps needs it the most. Yet they can't afford it, so do we compromise our values, and let them swing, or do we step up and make Health Care something for everyone to benefit from, irrespective of whether it makes money?

I mean come on, they use a walker because they have a problem in walking. Yet some of these home care workers seem to think it is for show. And then they try to rush through the job, as if they only have five minutes to complete it, when they have an hour. It makes no sense, unless it is just about money & profits. Obviously there is no screening taking place.
