It doesn't require much thinking, and doesn't tax the brain, but it does make you feel good. And I think, the older one gets, the more one needs comedy. You need something to laugh at, to feel good about. There is no doubt, it makes mom feel better. You can see it in her face, how the frowns are less rigid, the wrinkles a lit less deep. May not tax her mind, but it helps her cope, I think. It gives her a break from her thoughts.

My only goal is to keep mom entertained. To have her laugh, smile, and be happy. Thankfully the movies I've been selecting have fit the bill, though the one tonight was a real winner. It had her grinning for most of the movie, and that made it a great choice.
