Comedy, Bottle Shock
Not a super great laugh a second video, but it did the trick. A rather decent video actually, with some fairly decent acting.
Mom enjoyed it, but I wonder, if she even understood it? I know, sounds weird, but lately, she gets this sort of look, that makes you think she isn’t understanding what is happening, or what she is seeing, listening to.
I suppose that is the Dementia, but it is nice to see her laugh, anyways.
David enjoyed it, as it was set in the 1970’s & had a lot of older vehicles, that he likes. Frankly so do I. I mean they had style, class, and were different. They weren’t all cookie cutter cars, trucks, like we have today.
Saturday Ritual
Odd how one gets into a routine, isn’t it?
For a long time, we have spent the evenings, watching television, but over the last few years, that has gradually dimnished in popularity.I mean what is on television, just plain sucks. Mom finds it of little interest, and besides, there really isn’t any good programs on, that entertain in a good way.
Guess you could say, we are old fashioned.
Murder & Mayhem isn’t her cup of tea, and reality shows, well, they aren’t real, now are they? I mean staged nastiness is not any better than contrived meanness. So now the schedule has changed, especially this year.
Saturdays has turned into a Knowledge Network viewing night. They show the British Mystery, Midsomer Murders. I know, murder and mayhem, but it is not your North American fair. It is more sedate, in some sense, and frankly, has a lot less blood and gore, and more plot to it.
So that is the Saturday ritual now, to watch the almost 2 hours of this show, instead of commercial television. Frankly it is entertaining, even if the majority of the shows, are all repeats. Even they are better than first run episodes of some stupid reality show, or some meaningless drama, like Harper’s Island.
