And isn't the only way, short of examing their resume, is to observe them during the performance of their duties? If that means standing guard, why are those who send these workers in, upset? After all, if the staff is truly qualified, the hovering won't be every time they show up, just at the beginning, so why the worry? Course, if they know the staff isn't properly trained, that could explain their nervousness at having someone watching, which I believe is the case with VIHA &#038; BEACON. The real issue is that neither VIHA, nor Beacon Community Services, are concerned about the quality of care, merely that some form is provided. And if someone gets hurt, neglected, in the process, well VIHA saved some cash, Beacon made some cash.
