Old people are being ripped off just from the cost of paying their share for medications, for essentials like depends. Each time a doctor or nurse shows up, or a home support worker, details of that visit should be recorded. Don't trust your memory, get it down on paper, or something. Yet consistently, substitute workers seem incapable of basic caring skills. So, uh makes more sense to pay to cover meds that will prevent worsening conditions, than not.
