It is not a means for companies to get rich, to make enormous profits to run their other operations. Nor is it for Government to use, to balance its budget, or to gain campaign contributions. Yet that is what it is today, thanks to those in charge, and to us, who accept it.

I wonder, would they feel that way, if it was their loved one under care of a private firm? What checks and balances are in place, when Government abdicates its obligation under our National Health Plan? Do they even care, or is it just about how much money they save?
