Many may think that is rather petty to bitch about not being called when a worker is shifted to a different time, than the original one. May sound like really just a minor issue, but it truly isn’t.
You see, it throws her off for the entire day, and the next too. It isn’t just over & done with when the worker arrives, or even an hour or two after.
Yesterday’s little incident, left Mom having her tremors throughout the day. In fact, I lost count at how many times she began to shake uncontrollably. Each time she got up, she shook. Every few steps she took, for the entire day, she shook. Standing by the bed, to have the diapers changed, was at least two episodes, if not more.
Her voice was slurred some times, her appetite was less and she just didn’t feel like even drinking all of her juice, with her pills. Both are not something she can afford to skip.
Many more choking spells as well, due to her nervousness. And the questions, about will Tracy be here Monday, will she be late, were almost endless. ( It seemed that way, though I suppose in fairness it was perhaps 4 times. )
All of this had to be dealt with, meaning I was on guard the entire day & night. During the video, I had to keep an eye on her, as she would suddenly cough, have a choking spell. Each of her night time pills, brought on a choking spell, and she takes several at night.
This is what happens, simply because some scheduler, didn’t read the notes, didn’t make a simple phone call.
Petty? Minor? You tell me.
